I used a piece of shrink plastic as a makeshift stencil. Sponged gesso over the stencil then when it was dry I rubbed silver acrylic paint over the whole page. The whole thing blended together a little too much so I sanded the top with a piece of brown bag. That helped the pattern pop out a little better. After I was done I hit the gessoed shrink plastic with my heat gun and got a really cool texture.
